Greatphotos would like to show you the splendor of the Unesco World Heritage Sites through  great photos.

You will find the photos listed per country per world heritage site. The names used are the names as provided by Unesco, only the names are put in alphabetical order.  It has been tried to be as complete as possible with the various sites. Hence you will find a lot of photos showing the total of a site in combination with details. In the case of larger World Heritage Sites the sites are devided into sub galleries. Cross country sites are listed per country, you will only find the part of that country within this gallery. 

All the photos have been made with DSLR cameras by Canon. The cameras used are a Canon 60D and a Canon 6D. The lenses used are the 10-22 mm, 16-35 2.8L, 24-70 2.8L, 70-300 4.5 and the 70-200 2.8L. Flash has hardly been used, whenever the Canon 430EX II has been used. The tripod used is a Gitzo Traveller. Software used is  both lightroom and photoshop CS6.

Greatphotos has several aims with this website.

1. first of alll great photos would like to show the world heritage sites through great photos.
2. It has been more important to show the sites, then just use great photos. Meaning that if a site was visited during e.g. bad wetter, the photos will show the site during bad wetter. 
3. great photos would like to give you to opportunity to buy the photos. You can buy the photos as a download or printed on paper, canvas or other.
